PSC Collaborates With USP-Alafua

The Samoa Campus Director, Tootooleaava Dr. Fanaafi Aiono – Le Tagaloa met with PSC Chairman Afioga Nonu Lemauga Saleimoa Vaai, Commissioner Fonoti Perelini S. Perelini, and Assistant Secretary Sarona Filipo to discuss details of the Government of Samoa’s future assistance for students at the Samoa Campus.

There were discussions on opportunities for ongoing mutual cooperation including scholarships and training programs for full time students as well as matured working employees in the workforce.

A strong emphasis of the discussions was based on the revised human resource development priority list, particularly for the areas of agriculture, land management, marine science, and human resource development.
The meeting will be the first of many dialogues between PSC and Samoa Campus to negotiate future academic prospects for generations to come.
