Ambassador of China to Samoa pays courtesy visit to the Public Service Commission

The Ambassador of China to Samoa, His Excellency Fei Mingxing paid a courtesy visit to the Office of the Public Service Commission, and met with PSC Chairman Afioga Nonu Lemauga Saleimoa Vaai, Commissioner Fonoti Perelini, and Assistant Secretaries Sarona Filipo & Osana Liki-Ward.
His Excellency discussed opportunities for ongoing mutual cooperation between the Government of China and the Samoa PSC, including scholarship and training development programs in line with the revised human resource development priority list, specifically in the areas of agriculture, fisheries, health, education and sports. The PSC shared with His Excellency ongoing priorities for the Commission, including the ongoing Public Service Reform Program, and the development of the National Workforce Plan, which will have extensive impact on areas of collaboration in the future.
His Excellency reiterated his thanks to the Chairman, Commissioner, and the PSC for the warm welcome extended to him & his Team during their visit.
