𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐚’𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐍 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐮𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 country visit is currently in progress. Samoa is being reviewed by experts from Papua New Guinea and Mongolia, with the support of the UN Office for Drugs & Crime (UNODC).
The 2-day in-country review finishes tomorrow, and involves all integrity agencies in Government together with representatives from the private sector through the Chamber of Commerce, and civil society through SUNGO.
