OUR OBJECTIVES:

Objective One - Enhanced capability of Ministries to manage their human resource effectively and efficiently.

Objective Two - The Commission has the capability to perform its mandate role as the Strategic Human Resource Adviser to Government and Ministries

Objective Three - Efficiencies and effectiveness are achieved through robust monitoring evaluation and timely reporting on human resource management and Public Administration Sectoral performanc

OUR SERVICES:

We are responsible for providing policy advice to government on Human resources Management in the public sector and technical advise and assistance to departments and line agencies in the following areas:

Commission - strategic policy advisor to Government on all HRM matters.

Resourcing Division - recruitment & selection, remuneration, classification & standards, organisation structure, workforce statistics/planning, job description analysis.

Performance Management Division - probation, conditions of service, performance appraisal, performance counselling, discipline procedures, grievance management, mobility & transfer, total quality management, equality& diversity, separation & retirement.

Performance Development Division - capability building and gaps analysis, induction training, leadership development, scholarship, rotation/exchanges, mentoring/coaching, career management, team development, succession management.

HRM Information Systems Division - provide human resource information, provide, implement and support IT systems, maintain our local area network, develop, publish and maintain our website.

Corporate Services Division - support all other internal divisions through the serving of the reception and delivery of all correspondences, manage internal financial & human resource matters, records on government personnel, and library.
